RFI age is a leading indicator
Open RFIs that age past a few days are rarely just admin. They are unresolved design or commercial risk.
Counting open RFIs is not enough. Ageing them — and tying each one back to the governing drawing — shows where the project is stuck.
A single board with status, age and source links turns the RFI register into a controls instrument instead of an email archive.
