Stop rewriting the weekly status report

If the facts live in the documents, the report should assemble from those facts — not from memory.

Most weekly status packs are a rewrite of last week’s pack with a few numbers changed. The underlying evidence — drawings, RFIs, meeting notes — rarely gets re-checked.

When the project intelligence layer stays current with the document set, a status summary can cite the same sources the team already trusts.

That does not remove judgement. It removes the typing tax and the risk that the report drifts away from the latest issue.
